Do any of you have any experience with masport mowers? I'm looking at one of their self propelled 3 + 1 with a 190 CC Briggs & Stratton engine. How did these mowers hold up over the Long Haul? Any input would be appreciated

They are a new addition at my local mower shop. They appear to be a quality product but despite being an older brand internationally; they are fairly new here.

The conclusion I came to is that for the same money one could buy a known quantity. They cost as much apples to apples as comparable Toro, Snapper, or Honda offerings.

It is nice to have another manufacturer offering cast alloy decks in the US market.

I've never heard of them. Nice to have them as an option. I always marveled at the Eastman Industries mowers. I've only seen them online though.

The base model is only an 18" cut and the self propelled models seem pricey, especially the multi speed models. ^ JTK, same here. I found a used Eastman an hour away but it had already sold. Very rare, well built mowers but crazy expensive. They also make a hover mower for use on hills and around water. I have owned a couple of Ingersoll garden tractors, which is an Eastman subsidiary. Hydraulically driven and tough as nails.
