Mann or Wix for Honda air filter?

Like I posted, the Fram I looked at for my 2007 Accord 4cyl was a junky one made is Isreal.

I checked out a Puralator for my car today. lol, Made in Israel...the same piece of junk.

I have an Amazon coupon, I can pick between Mann and Wix, which is better since I can't inspect them?

It's a plastic framed filter w/ a small soft rubber gasket.

Usually I like the Fram's orange foam gaskets, the one on this app was [censored] thin rubber.

So, which would you pick? Mann or Wix? I'm leaning toward Wix.

I have Mann air filter in my MB E430, it's a nice quality filter. Mann may not produce air filter for Honda, but they would not pick a bad manufacture and have their name on it to ruin their reputations.

I use a Wix air and oil on my Civic, I'm happy with them.

Sorry, it's Wix or Hastings. I dunno if I trust the Hastings, some overlap with Puralators, maybe?

The Wix seems to offer some features:

Urethane gasket? Mesh screen? Hard to tell form the pic but that sounds really good. $18

It at least does not have the same white media as the Israeli ones and is blue dyed on the rear??? The yellow paper media is usually the better Euro filters and the dyed blue could be a dual layer? The construction looks tidy in the pic. Only $12

I want to order tonite, so I have to pick one.

Seems like a good price. Can't tell much by those pictures. I remember my original Honda filter had blue media, and the Wix has a yellow media.

Personally, I'd go with the Wix, helps me sleep at nite.

I got the Wix for $18 plus a 2-pack of bigger P1s for $10. With the $25 coupon and free shipping it costed $3. I'll put the Wix in before my next oil change, but after the road salt is gone.
