I've never seen the Mann stuff in person. Which brand do you like better in oil, air, and cabin filters? What auto part stores carry Mann?

Never seen a Mann. Mostly been using Wix, which are great. Recently tried Baldwin, which I understand is on par with Wix.

BMW, MB, VAG, Audi and many OEM European cars oil, air, fuel, cabin, transmission filters are made by Mann&Hummel and Mahle (to a lot extent) there is another company whose name i believe starts with letter "W", but I can recall the name...

The only auto part stores in my area carry Mann filters are small independent import auto parts.
As Quattro Pete, I had to order filters online for my E430 or pay dealer prices which is up to twice online prices.

Mann makes a very good filter as does Mahle and mostly for European applications. I use a Mahle on my VW Cabriolet & Austin Mini because it's affordable and is an excellent filter. I use Wix on everything else with the exception of my Santa Fe I use an Amsoil EAO.
