I am making a coolant bypass filter setup for my 6.0 powerstroke. Is it OK to use brass T-fittings?
Also, I am trying to figure out how to mount the filter. I already have an oil bypass mounted where most normally mount the coolant filter. Is it OK to mount the coolant bypass under the motor? I asked this on the diesel site and got mixed answers. some thought there isn't enough pressure/coolant flow to make this work and that I needed to figure out how to mount it above in the engine bay. Any suggestions of Ideas are appreciated
