Mahle OX387 - 5,000 miles

Mahle OX387 in service for 5,000 miles in my 2009 BMW 328i with N51 engine. Oil used was Quaker State Euro 5w40, Liqui-Moly 5w40 and a MANN HU816X went back in. Filter was made in Austria, and seems to be well constructed.

I think the Mann filters have more tightly bound pleats. Looks like it did it’s job.

Looks good for the 5k in your 328i. Have you run the Mann filter, you just put in, before? How did it turn out?
