MAF vs TB cleaner spray

8th gen civic is coming up to close to 160k km and I have never cleaned the MAF sensor or the TB.

Idle sometimes fluctuates and this car has DBW so no IACV.

I don't have either MAF or TB cleaner, and was thinking which one is the milder of the two. My guess would be MAF, and can I use MAF cleaner for TB too?

Sure you can. MAF cleaner will not damage rubber or plastic and also leaves no residue.

MAF cleaner likely has a less potent chemical structure and probably a composition that leaves no residue that could effect the MAF.

Either probably would be fine on the TB. I know you can use brake and carb cleaner on the TB without issue, MAF fluid should be fine.
