On Wednesday last, I had the pleasure of having lunch with member #1. Although Bob doesn't frequent the board as often as he used to, he does still check in once in a while and he's pleased to see that it's running so well.
Bob has given me his blessing to post about our mini-meet
. Although his stroke has limited his activities somewhat, he's still able to get out and about...he even rode his Harley to the restaurant, and his appetite certainly hasn't suffered! We chatted about a wide range of topics, including, of course, oil. His speech is a bit slurred, to the point that people mistake him for being "under the influence", but I can attest to the fact that he is not. Also, due to complications from his stay in hospital, he now walks with a limp. In spite of all this, Bob is in good spirits and wants everyone to know how happy he is that BITOG is doing so well.
I'm sure you all join me in wishing him the very best and hope that he comes around here more often. Thanks, Bob, for starting this site!!!!
