so i recently found a local import parts place that carries the 0w40 variety. has anyone used this with success? looking to use it possibly in my nissan. i searched but not too many finds for this oil.

I will be running it in my Saab this winter. The guy I bought it from seems to like it in a variety of cars (no UOA to back that up). I think if you search the UOA section you will find something. If I recall correctly, it seemed to do well especially in the exteneded drains.

Edit: Just searched the UOA sections for lubromoly. Lots of good UOA's there, check it out. Just make sure you change the search parameters to longer than 1 week.

thanks saab. i had read through those threads. i went ahead and bought the bottle (they only had one on hand). so i'm going to take the plunge, so to speak, lol. since my car only take 4 quarts if that i'll send some to blackstone and get a voa. from the looks of the uoa's though it looks to be a good oil.
