I recently purchased the starter pack of the oil and the newly formulated fuel additive. I have an old 1981 Turbo Volvo with K-Jet Fuel Injection feeding a SOHC 2.1 liter engine with 300K. The anecdotal differences I have experienced are not subtle. My wife even commented on how smooth the car runs. I've owned this car since new and I think its safe to say I know the car. The only word to summarize the effect is "purr". The smoothness of the engine is very satisfying. I did nothing other than add the dose(s) and I noted the difference by tank #2. The little engine vibrations (being hyper-picky about this) felt out on the highway are gone. The ever-so-slight and not-quite-perfect idle is now perfect. K-Jet is mechanical and is wholly dependent on the smooth delivery of fuel. The engine simply purrs which is the only word I can use. I have always kept the car well-maintained but this was like icing on the cake and extremely satisfying.
No change in gas mileage of note but the visceral improvement is good enough for me. Again, anecdotal admittedly, but I'm a happy camper with these products. I'm not sure a newer car would experience this. My old Volvo sure did. Oh, and it literally jumps to life when I start it in the morning.
