I calculated the cost for rotella, what the centinal is designed for

I do not know how long the Syn will last, but it would need to last 200,000 miles just to break even with rotella

follow my line of thought? Looking at it now it looks pretty confused, like me...

So for the VPBE example, .19 gal * 128 oz/ gal = 24.32 oz.

So you are saying for the same cost you would have to adjust burn rate on the PBExtreme/other syn to 24 oz vrs. the 1/2 gal (64 oz) of a $12 oil?
You could figure that without all the other by just taking the ratio of the cost, 6/32=.1875
