to stabilize my spine to prevent damage to the nerve cord.
My L-5 vertebrata was literally rammed up against the main nerve cord. After surgery I woke up with zero pain in my legs and was up and walking just a few hrs after surgery. i just recently started PT and all is well.
I wish you a full recovery. Since my initial post, I've experienced 3 or 4 flare ups that have rendered me useless for 3-4 days and to get back to 90% takes a few weeks. I've been stretching more as of lately and I find that wearing a back belt when doing anything active helps me.
