Went into an apt one day for a call. Middle of our "winter". Heat must have been on 85 (older lady). There must have been 10 cats (can't watch the video posted, so this may be less). Plates of old food left everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE! I was in full uniform, including long johns and a sweater. The smell combined with the heat just about made me sick. I'm not a cat hater but enough is enough. They were well cared for though.

That's a type of hoarding. People that do this usually have a diagnosable mental problem (or problems) that lead them to this. It's sad, really, especially since a lot of the cats these people collect are feral and get put down since they can't be safely adopted out to families.

Kinda reminds me of a childhood visit to a fish hatchery when they threw the pellets into the mature section. A feeding frenzy.

They seemed like happy cats. They appeared to get along with one another. (see what else I can pull out of my behind to give the appearance that I'm actually endorsing/approving of the madness)...the floor appeared quite clean before the feeding ...
