Looking for recommendations on a steam cleaner

I am looking for something like this to do some cleaning around the house on some tough spots that I can't get clean with regular household cleaners and also, to do some automotive related deep cleaning.

Any suggestions? The McCullough MC-1275 and Steamfast SF-275 look like good options. As for price range, I'd like to keep it in the $150 or less range. If there's something above $150 that you think is the bee's knees, post it so I can at least take a look at it.

If what you are using it on is cloth or carpet, you need an extractor to pull the dirty water out of what you sprayed steam on.

I am not sure you need steam unless you are talking about cleaning the engine area.

My guess is neither of those machines will spray out steam with a lot of pressure.

For cleaning greasy engine areas, you want a hot water pressure washer for big $$.

It will be strictly for non-cloth surfaces. The primary use will be for bathroom surfaces, vinyl, and other hard surfaces.
