What current available oils meet the ACEA A3 specifications. I see Mobil 1 10w 40 EP does. Curious who else sells A3.

Any decent 40 weight oil can be considered A3 material, esp since the qualifications are self-reported. Delo had A3 for a while, ST Synth 10w-30, DuraBlend 10w-40. I'm sure Clean 7500 and Syntec Blend 10w-40 would meet it. The UK version of Start-Up carries A3. Blah blah.

The DuraBlend @ what weight(s) & what $, please?

"Delo 400 used to..." , when?

Thanks in advance for your kind consideration!

Cheers!

I have a jug of Delo 400 in 15W-40 which states on the bottle that it is A3. The bottling date is 02/27/04 and the oil is CI-4. This is an older formulation which I think has been replaced by CI-4 Plus. I don't yet have any of the newer stuff to compare labels with.

5W-30 RL is A3

Yes it is. I was quite surprised as well. I just did an oil change on my car last week and put in RL 5W-30 and it had meets ACEA A3 on the back label.I was wondering if this was something new so I contacted Redline and they confirmed that the 5W-30 meets ACEA A3. I found some RL 5W-30 at another store that didn't have the A3 rating on the bottle but I was told that it was old stock, so I guess you just have to check the label or buy it from someone that has new stock.

Hey Paul if it says (B5-02 and A5-02) you can't use it. The alcohol, tobacco, fire arms, and motor oil (ATFMO) folks are on their way to your house right now.

Hey Paul, Maybe your last years stock of RL was old stock to begin with. All I know is that RL told me the above listed oils meet A3. I had some 5W-30 that had A3 on the bottle and some didn't so maybe they are relabeling the new stock or they changed the formulation. Either way I don't know for sure and can only go by what I was told.
