Anyone have a list of long drain 0w20 oils? Familiar with Mobil 1 0w20 EP and amsoil. Currently using Penzoil Ultra Platinum 0w20.... Thanks.

Castrol Edge EP
Supertech Advanced
Valvoline EP

But if the car is under warranty, stick to factory OCI recommendations (or the minder, if your car has one).

I didn't think Valvoline EP was marketed as an extended drain oil.

Mobil1 EP (20k)
Castrol Edge EP (20K)
Royal Purple (15K)
Pennzoil Platinum (15K)
Castrol Edge (10K)
Mobil1 (10K)

Various boutique oils as well.

What does the vehicle matter? The OP wants a set of oils rated for long drain intervals.
Some vehicles require more than API SP.
For example if he had a jeep cherokee with the 2.0T
M1 EP also has the jeep spec ms-13340.

Also a more detailed question is always better than Generic general questions :)

The severe interval is 3,500 and normal is 7,500 miles, I change my oil around 5 to 6 thousand miles, The oil spec is 0w20, Vehicle is a 19 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 non-rurbo engine, This SUV is easy on oil.

MOBIL A.F.E. is good 0w-20 . Used it for many years for the 2nd generation FITs we had . Also used PENNZOIL Platinum 0w-20 , mostly the A.F.E. . Many of the O.C.s' are on this site . Would go up to 9,000 miles .

Got some of this right now in my Outlander. Good for 20K miles. At my rate that will take five years.

Long enough?

The Castrol EP is the gold bottle, I probably try Valvoline EP 0W20 or stick to Penzoil Platinum. The oils I used have been Napa Full Synthetic, Quaker State Ultimate Protection and the current oil change is Penzoil Ultra Platinum.

What I notice using Quaker State is the oil turn a darker brown around 3,000 miles, Penzoil Platinum and ultra Platinum the oil still have a golden honey color throughout the change interval.

Oil color doesn't really matter. Why do you need a list, just Google it. Long drain, extended drain etc. HPL probably tops the list here.
Check out @wwillson , he goes a long way on HPL.

If you look at the UOA section and some of the 0W20 results -- hopefully -- you will get a better understanding with which oils to extend or not in that weight. I have noticed some really low wear rates myself of SuperTech Advanced 0W20 and for 5-6K would be great for a price point.

So you want an oil that reaches beyond 5-6k OCIs and still top-tier protection?
You answered your own question with the three brands names you listed above. Or, you can invest in three more 0w20s....... HPL PPP, Ravenol DXG and Schaeffers 9000.
