Looking for a New Crossover or Suv

If you need AWD, and you don't need three rows of seats, a Subaru Forester would be my choice (it was, actually).

My wife recently received a 2010 Chevy Equinox as a company car (she got the V6 - personally (and most auto journalists agree) the four cylinder is more than adequate unless you're towing or hauling around Sumo wrestlers.

Anyway, prior to her receiving the vehicle, I thought the CRV was the cat's pyjamas. I've never been a GM fan, but I can honestly say that I would chose the new Equinox over the CRV.

I really like the VQ35DE engine that is in my mother's new Altima, so I'd have to recommend the 2010 Nissan Murano.

18/23 MPG for the murano, and I HIGHLY doubt it is bigger than a Chevy traverse.

Not good.

When given the choice of 2 engines I always take the larger one...I figure the larger one has a better cooling system then the smaller one which is very important when you live in jungle heat and jungle traffic conditions...I have a seen a lot of cars die of heat stroke in the hot humid summer months which goes on for 10 months at a time.
