i am turning in my leased buick crossover i did not put that many miles on it but just replaced the tires car is in great shape im worried that upon return i bring it back to a gm dealer and they send someone from an outside company to look at it i know its in great shape but what happens if someone bangs into it or something else happens while on their lot waiting for final inspection? I will video it anyway..any ideas?
Also what S.u.v should i look at i want something new something that will hold its value (maybe toyota) but something reasonably priced maybe something end of year? I give mine back in March but don't want to buy it.
I would love to finance it at 0% or something low like that or i will pay cash what do all of you Recommend? Demo maybe?

just around town and maybe one trip a year subaru is an idea what is the price of one of those and are they a really good car?
I don't see many of them here in my engine shop but what about the rest of the car?

Subaru Outback or Forester, Toyota Highlander, Rav 4, or Venza.

All good vehicles. I personally prefer the Toyota's, but my family has always owned them. I have driven all of them except the Venza.
But that is Camry based, and I've driven those, nice cars.

Whatever you do, Please go Asian, they last FOREVER, and hold their resale value. Plus you can't beat the quality.

+1 on the new Santa Fe (I say new, but it's been out a few years).
Very nice as well, not sure on resale value though.

Are you basing this on personal experience or hearsay?
Because there are good and bad brands from each region..

My Mom is driving an Edge currently. It's at the end of a problem free two year lease.

Those Santa Fe's are ugly. We just bought a new CRV and just love it. Lot's of room and rides surprisedly smooth.

Toyota RAV4 will hold its value the best of SUV's.

Forget domestic branded or Hyundai if you care about resale. Then again if you are looking at best buy slightly used with warranty or certified go domestic/Hyundai.

That being said that each one for an extended test drive and see what you like.

It is really depends of what are your needs.
It seems this time you want to buy, but how long do you want to keep it? Do you need power or fuel economy? Need to tow? Need cargo space? Need AWD?
The good thing is that you have a lot of offering now, so take your time exploring every possibility and don't get any negative thought about a car before testing it.

Now, I could list what cars I would like to have... but what for, you are not me.

Have fun searching your new car, testdriving cars is the fun part.

Chevy equinox. We have done a pretty good look at all of them for a potential purchase, and it is the nicest, most efficient, best/smartest set-up, and seems the most comfortable.

Some thoughts:
-RAV4 - stupid placement of spare on rear not only looks funny, but is much more $$$ if youre rear-ended.
-Forrester - test drove this extensively when helping wife's best friend to buy a car (she got an impreza), nice but felt cheap
-ford escape - strong design (we had a telephone pole snap and land on the roof of one with us in it, and were perfectly safe), but a bit plasticy insids.
-Honda CR-V - since there is no MT, I would touch it and expect a long-life from the transmission.

Id seriously consider the VW Jetta diesel too...

Personal experience. See my signature, I own both a Toyota AND a Ford. My MIL ownes a Blazer, my friend a Mazda 3, My other friend a Subaru, My grandma drives a Camry, My mom a Rav, My dad a Tundra, and my friend a Regal, and I service many other cars.
In my experience, Asian cars are the most reliable, and the easiest to fix.
