Well. They were not able to tell me the difference between the Axis or Axis II. I called Savage direct and all is good.

Well based on what I can see it looks like I am going to go with the Left Handed Savage Axis II (vs the Axis) as it has a different stock design, an adjustable trigger and the bolt safety so it does not go bang if dropped did. Now its finding the best price shipped to my FFL.

Bought the Left Handed Savage Axis II for a great price and then bought a Bushnell Banner II with extended eye relief in 3x9x40. Hope it all works out! Thanks for all the input!!
