Look what you've done to me! (pics)

Tell her not to worry, if there's fire you have a plan in place to save as much of it as you can!

I love it. my stash is so much smaller (like 40 qts), yet my wife and friends laugh at me regularly. I will have to show them yours if for no other reason than to validate mine!!!!

You have a problem, indicated by only 2 crankcases to feed. I have ten so it's justified. I think interest in lubrication and hoarding are closely associated.

I know! I use to only keep a case(12 qts) on hand. But now it's always between 50-80 qts of oil. Plus filters, ATF, washer fluid and antifreeze.

Those pictures are funny! LOL! Holly Canlloi!

Here's my advice: Find some eldery people or other needy person (i.e. a single mom) and offer to change their oil and filter for free. You'd still have more than enough for yourself. Don't hoard that much bubba, it does no good. Share some of that supply (and your car knowledge) with a needy nieghbor. IMHO, that's how you could better represent us on BITOG

In sincerity, If you hold on to that much inventory without a realistic need, I could never offer you a compliment. Seems strange...

gotta disagree... the man works for his money, and he chooses to spend it on that. so he has EARNED all of that. i wouldnt give a single bit of it away for free if i were him

HBCALI, if you had any idea how many hundreds of MY hard earned dollars PLUS MY time and labor I have given away in the form of free car care alone (not counting all the actual cash gifts and other charitable donations that no one will ever know about) in the last year you would probably fall over yourself. If I were doing those things so some tree-huggin' Birkenstock wearin' hippie would think I was "sharing the wealth" then I would have posted as much. I simply wanted to share in the hobby some of the rest of us have found here on BITOG.

Thanks you Jake, I DO work VERY hard for my money. I also share in my blessings, of my own FREE WILL.

Somehow, that just sounds weird.

This is his hobby. He doesn't need to "represent" anyone. If he wishes to have a stash of oil he purchases - just for the sake of looks...so he can sip coffee and be happy as he stares at his counter - that is his right as an American.

Good day sir - and no - there is no need to feel guilty. Enjoy your happiness!

My question to all who stock up on bunches of filters: What happens when you get rid of the car? Lets say the car is in a wreck and totaled. Are yo now obligated to get the same or similar car so you can use up your stash? Guess you could ebay or craigslist them, but what a hassle. Same with all the oil. What if your replacement car needs a different grade?
