Longer Oil Filter,Yes I Need One

On my 5.5 Owen generator(motorhome) has a short oil filter that is very hard to get my oil filter wrench on to take it off. So I e-mailed Baldwin to see what the micron rating was on the longer BT-353 filter and its a little better than the stock filter for my gen. So now I have a filter that should filter a little better and make it very easy to change because its 5 3/4" long which makes it easy to take off. The stock filter was around 3" long. ROD

I did that with my 4Runner V8 by using the Mobil 1 M1-209 filter in place of the original filter part number. Same price, more area and a couple ounces more oil. What's not to like about that?

That's right, and with the limited room for tools on the motorhome this longer filter lets me take one oil filter tool instead of two. The BT-353 has 347 sq. in. of filter media and that is over twice as much as the stock filter That and no more skinned up knuckles. ROD
