Took a new bottle of Ronsonol lighter fluid (read: naphtha) and added a couple drops of FP to it to create as close to a 1:640 mix as I could guesstimate and filled up my Zippo lighter with the new "brew". Interesting...Seems to light a little faster and the flame doesn't "pop" as much as before. Time will tell if it cleans the carbon off the wick or not.

Yes, this is the pinnacle of boredom. People don't buy cars when it's -8°F out and windy.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Golly Mike, you need to get out on the lake and do some ice fishing.

Interesting experiment. Use the Zippo to heat your ice fishing tent.

What next? I wonder if FP-dipped **** /cigarettes reduce sludge accumulation in one's lungs if one is a smoker.

Or if it would simply clean out all the carbon buildup that exists in your body in the form of organs. Wouldn't that be neat if it really did make smoking less unhealthy?

Has anyone else noticed that it takes a huge amount of wind to clear an area of cigarette smoke? Tons of people smoke at my college, and I get tired of holding my breath everywhere. The smell never leaves!!

Laws make the air free of smoke, that's about it. Around here you can't smoke within 20 feet of a building entrance and you can't smoke inside public builds, bars, or restaurants.

Life is good. I can just imagine trying to write a university exam back in the day when everybody was allowed to smoke... AH, my exam is on fire because I forgot my ash tray!!!!!

Cheers, Steve

ps. I do own a pile of lighters but I use them for electronics work

Did it mix alright?

Wonder what an over the counter additive like fuel system cleaner (Gumout Regane) or a diesel fuel additive (like the PowerService stuff) would do when used in a light...

Technically speaking, gasoline and kerosene are naphthas, correct?
