I'm thinking on playing a joke on my buddy when I change his oil for him by putting loctite on the oil pan drain bolt and/or the oil filter threads.

How about just drain his oil without refilling. That's a better joke. Put the video on YouTube.

Not sure if it would stick well as there is quite a bit of oil on the threads as it is still dripping.

How about a couple of rocks/pebbles in one of his hubcaps? Or rigging his horn to his brake light switch? Don't ask how I know about these...

Why don't you do it to your vehicle(s) first, just to make sure that it works.

My ex -GF did that to me. I couldnt figure out why there were flies buzzing around the RF wheel. Looked like the hub was spitting grease. I Jacked the car up, took off the hubcap and layed it on my lap, I was looking at the axle hub - couldnt see a grease leak, then, I looked down into my lap and there was this rotted perch with maggots crawling out of it! Man, I tossed that hubcap across the driveway in horror in a kneejerk reaction!
