Gentlemen:
I am planning on getting a Blackstone UOA done on my current fill when it's time for my OC. That being said, at about the 3500 mile mark on this OCI, I replaced a leaking oil sensor on my 2006 Toyota Corolla. The oil sensor is threaded and is located just above the oil filter. When it leaks, the oil runs down onto the filter and also runs along the top of the oil pan. Anyway, when I replaced the sensor, I sparingly used Loctite 37615 PST Thread Sealant in an attempt to keep it from leaking around the threads, which it was previously doing, in the future.
My question is, will the thread sealant influence the UOA significantly or at all? If it will influence the UOA significantly, I will just wait until the next OC to order the UOA.
Thanks,
P
