For a 10 year old car that never gets waxed, gets washed maybe once a month, receives minimal maintenance, and has 165k miles on it, the old girl don't look too bad, IMO.

Nice lookin dub there!

You say it never gets waxed. I've been using the soap with wax in it since new, 7 years ago. That outta help keep that shine

I know...correcting that issue is on my to-do list.

Nothing better than looking at an older well maintained car...even more attractive than looking at a new car somehow...

Try the Crystal View kit on the headlights...would look even better with clear HL lenses!

She looks great, Wayne, although the headlights kinda jumped out at me, too.

My Passat will turn 100K this year, maybe I'll finally break down and get her detailed. She still looks good, IMO, but I'd like to get the water marks and whatnot removed.

Long may she run!

They're Hella e-codes with fogs. Available from many parts vendors.

Wow the car looks great. Clean up those headlights and the car will look and feel 10 years younger.

The front bumper without the license plate thing gives it a cleaner look. Your state does not require front license plate?

The stock Jetta headlights don't have that little bulb inside the lower part of the housing. Also I think the e-code headlight the turn signal is single fillament like the Golf.

totally agree - my own car (and also wife's car) also looks so much better since I pulled the stupid black box (front lic. plate holder) off the front bumper... should have done it a long time ago. (NC doesn't need front lic plt)
