Light Noise when cold start?

I only use and recommend what I have tried and works for me. I you discovered that white chocolate would cure stage 4 cancer, would you recommend it to a friend, or not because they are type 2 diabetic? Just because someone says that Lucas is bad stuff doesn't mean that it didn't work in my situation. I am sharing what worked in my case, not just passing on he said she said. He said and I heard usually turn out to be the two biggest liars.

That's not really the same thing, that's just ridiculous hyperbole trying to prop-up an impotent non-answer. There has actually been analysis done of Lucas, we know what is, and isn't in it. Saying "it works" lacks any evidence to validate that claim, you've not performed back-to-back tear-down analysis, which is absolutely what is required to validate any proof of performance.

The only thing Lucas "works" at is extracting money from the gullible consumer who believes their advertising language and has no way of testing the veracity of those claims. They want it to "work" and therefore it does.

You are sadly missing my point! If I filled my crankcase with dog poop and it fixed my problem then I am happy, regardless of what the self appointed experts say. I was told by an expert (Urologist) that the only options to get rid of my kidney stone was to either pass it ( very painful ) or by surgical methods. I dissolved it myself with apple cider vinegar. Now the experts say that this won't work, but I am pain free now for six months. I hope you understand the point I am trying to convey. It wouldn't be the first time some expert was found to be wrong. Just think outside your blinders.

We used it at a few car dealerships I worked at to try to quiet bad lifters or a knocking engine when our trade in guy failed to listen to a trade run or test drive it. We had one manager at a Honda dealership that had no business taking trades, but that's another story. It worked a lot of times, perhaps just long enough to pass the car off to the wholesaler. Because it worked doesn't mean it is doing the engine any good though, the stuff is "thick" and during the dead of winter it is not doing the engine any favors during a cold start.

Just think outside your blinders.

Think outside your blinders, with knowledge. Don't be a PT Barnum customer.

So you would be okay if the dealership filled your differential with sawdust , if it quieted the whine? ( This was done by unscrupulous used car dealers from the 50's- till who knows when)

I'm not missing the fact you are trying to make a point, I'm stating that you aren't in fact making one. Ridiculous hyperbole coupled with a generous helping of whataboutism are not a valid foundation for a debatable contention. This is like trying to have a discussion with a flat earther.

This site primarily revolves around science-based topics, of which proof and the scientific method are key components. This appears to be your kryptonite. I expect you will find the material discussed here of very little value, perhaps a board that discusses the merits of holding crystals and claiming it cures cancer is more your speed?
