Just finished washing our Accord and using Lifter1 Bug and Tar Remover. I have used it several times now and I highly recommend it. Wife's daily drive is through the country, and picks up lots of bugs, especially on front bumper/hood area.
Just spray it on, let it set 30+ seconds, rub the really stubborn spots with a clean cloth/sponge, and wash as usual. The rocker panels were pretty nasty too, tried some old turtle wax bug and tar I had left, didn't do much. Then sprayed the Lifter1, rubbed with clean cloth, rinsed and washed, excellent results.
And, it smells good too, like lemon. The RainX Bug and Tar I tried had a strong acrid petroleum smell, and didn't work nearly as well. I got Lifter1 at Advance Auto using one of those $10 coopins. If you're so inclined give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Lifter1 Bug and Tar.
