Lexus shock damage

A few ago I went over some large wooden block on the side of the temporary barriers (we have a lot of brainless construction in Austin).
Since then my car is acting wierd and got my bearings replaced and the shocks look funny and need professional advice.

The shock shaft has move by over 4mm from the center and I don't believe the mount has anything rubber other than metal, the mount itself cannot go bad, I suspect the shaft is bent. The shock is just fine but its disturbing that I am spending over $1500 to get this resolved, its my kids ride.

See attached both side mounts and your feedback on the issue. Also is there a good place to buy parts and where to best get Lexus parts online

Cheers

my mechanic told me my tire on the right side is wearing funny even though alignments have been done thus far.

Most of the folks on Club Lexus mail order parts from Bell Lexus. They regularly run holiday sales, discounts, etc.

Sewell Lexus (Dallas) was THE go-to. But for some reason, they abruptly stopped doing mail order about 10 years ago.

I usually order OEM a bit more local. My local Lexus dealer (Pleasanton) regularly discounts parts as well. They're close enough to where I can save in shipping on large orders.

MaximaGuy, I hope you've resolved this problem by now, but just in case you haven't - I hope you've taken the car in to the proper place for diagnosing such a problem, i.e. to the auto body shop!
If I read you correctly, you're saying the car hit something hard enough to knock the car's upper strut mount out of place. If that's what happened, then we're not even talking about a simple repair shop issue, we are talking auto body/sheet metal repair. Since the place where the struts mount up top, are just part of the unibody assembly.
So if the car hit something so hard that it knocked a strut mount out of place - AND your front tires are wearing wrong such that a simple wheel alignment doesn't fix it - the auto body shop is where you want to take this car to get looked at.

The problems with your car might be to the unibody itself. And the only people I know of with the skills and tools to check out, and hopefully fix, body problems is the auto body shop.
