Is Grapico still made in the southern US? Now that stuff will put Mountain Dew too shame. Three cans of Grapico is one heck of a buzz! Had some in Alabama when going through basic combat training for the Army.

Love it.....try to stay away from it as much as possible.
Rootbeer on top of the list,Pepsi, cream soda, ginger beer and orange soda. Think thats it.

Its the Ambrosia of the modern world.

I found a new local source for Mexican Coke that seems to be able to keep it in stock. I heard somewhere that Coke Corp. was threatening to cut off some of their distributors who had decided to import the Mexican stuff and sell it alongside the regular stuff. Ain't capitalism wonderful?

In the Chicago area, there's a brand called Clover Club that makes great soda pop, but it's hard to locate on a reliable basis. They were (are?) making Berghoff's rootbeer for them, which is terrific.

Mexican Coke can be found in several tiendas around here. Much better than the HFCS stuff.

Oh Yeah! My local grocery store always has it in stock. So finding is not a problem but price of almost 2 bucks for half liter bottle is outreageous. man i hate these corn lobby #@$%! that mess up so much in this country.

In Brazil at the moment. All of their sodas, Coke, Sprite, Orange, Grape... have real sugar in them. I am careful to only drink one per day, but I sure love them.

I only drink Mexican Coke, Dublin Dr. Pepper, and a couple of really stout(like melt your nose hair) ginger beers, when I'm home.

New coke was a marketing ploy to purge REAL COKE from the market place. Why cause the real sugar COKE tastes much better and people would have revolted if they knew.

They purged and now very few know any better. I had acces to outside stuff once in a while in the past and had co-workers taste them side by side and were like WOW.

The rest of the world gets the good stuff here we get shafted.

I want REAL COKE not the reformulated COKE CLASSIC!!!!

I drink a few Mexican Cokes a day.

I almost never drink soda but every now and then I'll have a Jones cream soda or a rootbeer float. They now use pure cane sugar. Still not particularly good for you though.

PEPSI. Since I was a kid we had a neighborhood store that had 10 oz. ice cold bottles. Great for after ballgames and the like. yes I'm addicted. 6-9 a day. Mt. Dew and Squirt are 3 and 2 on the list.

If you've never tried a barq's red cream soda treat yourself.
Stewart's grape is OK too.
I've also had the Dublin cane sugar Dr Pepper and it is very good.

Before reading this topic this morning, I never knew that off-shore bottled coke was made differently than the continental U.S. product. I was under the assumption that the Mexican Coke in the bottle was better 'cuz the can altered the taste. I feel more informed now.

I'm starting to not drink as much diet pop/soda/coke. Too many chemicals in those things.

Cognito: El Amigo Mexican restaurant, a ma & pa place on Rt 30 (near Rt 41) in Schererville, IN often times has Mexican Coke or Pepsi in bottles. After reading this topic thread I now know why I enjoy eating there: a bottle of the *REAL* soda with a great steak burrito suizo. Great tostadas too...

For the past 15 years or so I drank pop religiously (3-5 cans a day). Finally trying to kick the nasty habit and trying to get back into shape, etc. especially with Diabetes running in my family. I do miss/crave it from time to time, but it's not as hard as I thought it would be. What's tough for me is finding a decent tasting replacement. I used to love regular Coke & Mountain Dew.

I have always loved Coca-Cola Classic...

there was a time in life when I had a small... well not really small problem with Mountain Dew, goes hand in hand with Bipolar depression...

I drank a two-liter of Mountain Dew once...in an hour.

Nobody here enjoys a nice Reed's Ginger Brew once in awhile? I sure do.. an occasional Jarritos Mandarin when I hit the taco truck too-SWEET! Forget about the coko/peps stuff
