Lets talk about new vehicles

Feel free to slap me hard but I still like sedans. I think every home needs a pickup and a sedan...
SUVs are great but i still like a solid sedan...
I 100% agree. I took my 06 Lexus ES330 for its weekly drive. It was my dad's beach house car. He gave it to me with 16k, four years ago. It now has 17,500 miles. It runs like new, and no big infotainment crap. I use a $10 bluetooth adapter to stream my music though the OEM stereo. I would drive it more, but my 23 GX 460 is such a delight to drive, it's hard to make time for the grandpa gold sedan.

With a cvt transmission and less cargo space than a big sedan:sick:
I know. I am surprised Ryan likes it as much as he does. He said it's probably the best jack of all trades SUV at that price point.

You'll find guys often getting tired of driving body on frame SUVs like the 4Runner/Wranglers and moving to something more on-road oriented that still has just enough capability. I just don't like any of the AWD SUVs for off-roading. Too much wheel spin and time waiting for grip. I've grown used to have a true 4wd system, with lockers too. But for on road and bad weather the AWD SUVs are great.

Speaking of wagons... If this thing ever becomes reality, I bet it'll never make it to the US...

Prior I posted about the new Subaru hybrids carboning up at 3k miles

I saw a few reviews lately of the 2026 Lexus IS 350. By today's standards a dinosaur. 6 or 8 speed auto and NA V6. Not that quick off the line. Old school. Most of all the reviews were negative towards it, yet the same people are whining about 10 speed automatics with VCM and GDI. The Lexus AWD is also one of the best.

Got teased earlier with some clickbait about Ford coming out with a gasser Mustang sedan. Had a picture copyrighted by Motor Trend. We'll see.

I'm not one who thinks the Mach E is sacrilege I actually think they are kind of good looking. Better than most EV's anyway.

Still want another Maverick
I am looking at a custom driver's seat for a bad back that matches the rest of the interior.
Researching a few companies now.

Instead of getting 30 mpg plus here I'd be getting 60 and 70 mpgs in this area.

They've grown on me. The Mach E GT is nice looking IMO.

That is an excellent idea. I was once considering doing that to a car I had. But the car got totaled.
