Lets talk about new vehicles

I hit 500 miles today so I have 100 miles left of break in but we all know that's not true...

The Accord took about 5000 miles for everything to settle in and to get max mpgs...

Japanese rides I had in the past seemed to settle in at 3000 miles.

The cvt on this Mitsubishi didn't have the early herky jerky feeling like my 24 sport had.

My BIL’s Subie Crosstrek has had a hesitation then lurch from stop since new. Dealer told him it was normal. Not. I’ve driven other Subies and while I wasn’t a fan they didn’t do that.

He’s still driving it, 70 plus k now. It’s been reliable but the dealer has tried to soak him on maintenance a couple times.

I’m no Subie fan but I recommended a Forester to my elderly father. It should keep him out of trouble, but I think he’s moved on to Buicks. As much as he drives that would be fine too.

Many claim that Subaru is the biggest rip off as far as dealer services. Outrageous attempts to run the bill up.

Mazda seats are not comfortable for long drives. I sold my 2020 CX-5 Signature for that reason. I looked at the 2026, but the same. Beautiful car, lousy seats.
I sold my 21 CX-9 in less than a year because the center console severely intruded on my right leg space. Didn't notice it on the 30 minute test drive.

I didn't go back to a Maverick because of the drivers seat... the bottom was too short and really painful on the hamstrings..Everything else was stellar

I picked up two of these as spares for $5... I remember The Car Care Nut thinking these were oil funnels and saying he hoped the maker wasn't suggesting it will be an oil burner...lol

He didn't know what they were for...
