Lets talk about new vehicles

Not a fan of black in general and the overall look on the car but those are sharp.

I had some Roadians years ago and they were surprisingly good. 👍
I like value and in some sick kinda way small motors in big vehicles like ancient VWs..

I am convinced most YouTubers just regurgitate nonsense 🙄
In no way is this vehicle slow for everyday use.....
Yeah packed with 7 people up a mountain pass it may not be the ideal choice...

For now I'm keeping revs at 2500 max and its very sprightly until a get some more .miles on it... going to try 89 octane down the road

I have resigned myself to go for comfort and gas mileage and reliability over looks.. after all it's a tool for me but when others get new cars here I'm one of the first to congratulate them as it's a big investment and if they are happy that's all that matters.

To do otherwise isn't my style.
And black rims never thrilled me but I liked the package as a whole and overlook certain things.
Thanks On the rims... I'm not a Nexen fan but they are very quiet and handle well and are great in the rain.

Not many more boring pics coming

Notice the upper hood prop rod mounting?

I love that my loaner vehicle is the same 2026 CRV hybrid that I had last week. I’m a little bit disappointed that I didn’t see it get to roll over 16,000 km though. When I dropped it off last week it was around 15,900 and when I got it again yesterday it was at 16,006. The maintenance minder is signaling the oil needs to be changed soon and I am pretty sure this will end up being it’s very first oil change 😬

I took it to Walmart and back this morning and was impressed with the fact that after a cold start it ran on pure electric mode for the first 0.5km!

I would definitely be this CRV to anyone who needs an SUV. It’s bigger than my girlfriend’s 2018 RAV4 hybrid and has more storage capacity too. When she saw it the other day she was jealous 🤪

We haven’t seen those price hikes here. I think too many new car dealers are already hurting for business
It was that way here especially with Accords all trims and then they jacked them back to full MSRP + typical crap they pull...
Some are just over $40k and higher trims nearly $45k (CRV)

A few minor negatives to me with the CRV hybrid...
I'd rather have had a FWD which they usually only sell down south...
In my area it always seemed so torqued up like a SS 396 Chevelle in 3rd gear with a manual... the Outlander doesn't feel that way.. it's far more relaxed and is AWD .

With the AWD in light rain it was programmed to limit EV use thus killing the mpgs up to 10 mpg less..

I did not try the eco mode but ran in normal.. the seats were a bit tight but not a deal breaker..

Price gouging was the final straw...

I called the insurance company and the same company took off the 24 Sport and put on the 26 Outlander and it was $200 a year cheaper....really....

I got a refund on the Accord too...
Nice !!!

You can buy a lot of QSUP for that too... if you can find it, there's a shortage you know.
Actually I'm a dipstick checker
I topped it off with QSUP 5w-30 this morning .. I can buy all the QS you want and You already know that....some shortage.... 😁
