Lets talk about new vehicles

I have a 160 miles on the Outlander.
The seats were stiff but already broke in now and fit perfect...I have never seen them break in so fast..

I'm trying to dial in everything as there are many distractions... I just about have it right... the lane keeping system is like Honda so I dumped it and will only use it on the Interstate. Shake and bake i find annoying for everyday use as I mostly travel country roads.

I like the capless fuel system as I got used to it and the Sport didn't have it. The phone pairs in seconds..I like the center digital speedometer with analog too..

Ford got me used to that.. As usual I never use the Eco mode on anything... I see no gains from it..

Mitsubishi says 600 to 1000 mile break in with 0w-20 . Not sure what oil i am going to use or weight..

My Fords have cap less and I like it except they can be cranky if you’re trying to add Techron for example.

I will be crazy predictable and suggest QSUP in whatever you have on hand, 0w20 or 5w30.

10W-30

I use that sauce in everything

Yeah but at least ford gives you that secret funnel and so does Honda... I need to check to see if Mitsubishi supplied one... Jimmy don't need GTL with his secret elixir for which only @panthermike knows about. Grin 😁

It always happens to me when backing up the phone rings....on every vehicle I have had you can't answer the phone from the screen with the camera on... never fails..

I guess I need to remember to hit the button on the steering wheel...

Stopped off to top off the Mitsu and found the capless system the smoothest one I have ever used... no hangups and hardly any pressure..

The "auto hold" is B grade....
It's very smooth when you need to take off and better than the Maverick but not as good as the Honda.. the issue is it really takes 5 seconds too long to engage and bit too much foot pressure.... At 190 miles on it my last 18 mile cruise was 36+ mpgs...

The picture shows living on the edge at BK testing the auto hold function...

I forgot to add that the steering is a bit heavy like Mazda which I prefer less effort like you'll find in the sport and this is in regular mode and not a sport mode...

I used a capless system the other day for the first time ever. I pulled into an Exxon and a poor lady from New Jersey was standing there waiting for someone to fill her car. I informed her that unlike NJ she had to do it herself. She did not know how to operate the pump or dispense gas. I did it for her and I like the system.

On the C43 auto hold is engaged by pushing the pedal a bit harder after the car comes to a stop. I much prefer that to the BMW procedure of using a console mounted switch to toggle the system on or off.

I need to sit in one and see how it feels. A definate contender
It's not the back road tosser like the Sport but on regular roads its great and a premium interstate cruiser and a big thing i noticed is how smooth and precise the power windows are... very solid with no weird noises..

Yeah I wouldn't like that either...

The chrome hood emblem as they call it was a $170 option but i really like it and I didn't pay for a bunch of that stuff... so no big deal.

Also they finally got their all weather mats right... no need to buy aftermarket...
