This is the Subaru Outback with tidbits most miss... Deep Emerald Green for kc sell out Jeep....

You can get a F-150 XLT Super Crew FX4 and tow package for $57,400 MSRP. That automatically gets you a 3.5 Ecoboost.
That’s what I’m meaning towards. Still a lot o money though.

The wife would say just pay the additional ~$13k and get what I want. lol

KC “sell out” Jeep. lol

@KCJeep, what ever happened to the WJ anyways? I bet it had no rust.

I’ve been driving mine more since we have the baby now. I’ve had the thing since I was 17. Had no idea I’d be hauling my boy in it someday.

243k. Some slap. A little rocker rust sadly.

Once you make the move to Florida why not get an EV? As long as you aren’t doing long interstate driving anymore it would be good for anything more local. Might as well get the builder to put in a level two charger right now just in case 😃

The charger is included with the house and I agree..
It would work well for me being in town and many parks there have them already...such a helpful post i may have to block you or send you a Tasha picture..

Another thing you could do, like a lot of Florida residents, is get an electric golf cart and use it to get around town. Many mall parking lots even have golf cart spaces. I saw this one in Miami a few years ago 😃

For that, wants to get you run over driving a golf cart in traffic

I stayed at the Villages and they gave one with the house rental...did it for years and there was always some 85 year old street punk i had to dust off...
They even had tunnels under the roads.. I'd be racing all night....often had my Avatar riding shotgun...Georgia

I had it over 7 years and it was at 147k was just time to move on. Wanted another Grand but updated ones had become so popular they were out of my price range. 😢. Not all of us are loaded like @Zee09 .

You’re correct, no rust at all. The 4.0 and transmission both were still working perfectly. Had developed some chronic electrical issues that I was tired of fixing though.

What was it doing?

I’ve had mine since 2009. No issue at all minus some sensors and wear and tear items. Needs new controls arms now though. Oh and the passenger side window regulator broke on me last fall and I haven’t fixed it yet. 🤷‍♂️

Driver’s door wiring shorts and breaks causing multiple issues, had already been fixed twice over the years and needed it again. Right rear tail light, again already repaired or replaced multiple times, acting up again, just was ready to move on.

Recently replaced both our cars with Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrids, one sedan, one hatchback. Flawless so far, didn't really consider hybrids but the trim we wanted was Hybrid only, been driving Hondas exclusively for the last 40 years and have had excellent service from the dealer. Price was decent, almost $2000 off. With the current gas price debacle, about $4.499 locally, overall computed mpg has been right at 50mpg which is a real help. Mid to low $30k range in today's market is a Grey area, but these Civics seem to be very well built and executed, quiet, surprisingly fast and almost luxurious. We really didn't need SUV's and the insurance is less. At 78, if the weather is bad enough to need AWD, we'll just stay home.

I have the same Honda and Acura history as you. I just got a bad one, bound to happen...

I've had a bunch, including 87& 89 Integras, favorite was my 91 CRXsi, never have been left sitting by any of them, only one I really disliked was a 2004 Civic EX Coupe, Honda really hit a foul ball with that one, terrible ergonomics, in really cold weather, below 15f, the coolant capacity was so small there wasn't enough to get meaningful heat at highway speeds, LED indicators on the dashboard reflected on the windshield at night and weren't dimmable, I could go on, but I traded it on a 2006 Civic EX Coupe which was a really nice car for me. Fortunately it didn't have one of the cracked engine blocks, was trouble free for the 90k+ i drove it. Yes I'm still mourning the loss of Civic Coupes.

I’m not happy at all about Honda getting rid of the Civic coupes, just like I was mad when they got rid of the proper small Civic two door hatchback

I have had two Civic coupes, an 06 EX and I currently have a 16 LX

If you're new to the thread my 2025 Accord Hybrid has been a complete rattle trap and had electrical and infotainment issues which have not been corrected after 4 days at the shop.. a great car but not this one..

I had the first year 86 Acura Integra and later the first GSR and then the first Legend refresh...I think it was 92 or 93 with the failed 5 sp Transmission that would jump out of gear going uphill....the jerks at my Honda dealer said I was lying....while corporate said replace it..

Many years later I read it was well known... the list goes on but mostly positive with great resale.
The 86 Integra was the best built out of all..it cost me $13k with AC...
Yeah AC was a dealer install at $1k scam...lol
