Lets talk about new vehicles

It appears the Forester hybrid is a clear choice because of the Toyota e-CTV
But not thrilled with it or the mpgs

Look at this brute.

The latest have had teething issues and a bunch of misinformation flying around via YT
Wife wanted to downsize a bit from the Grand Cherokee and we test drive the X3, Q5 and just happened to stop by the VW dealership and test drive the Tiguan SEL Turbo and left in it. She absolutely loves it and it does look great beside the GTI in the garage.
She had her heart set on the X3 but it was a bit harsh, the interior plastics were disappointing and the interior lighting looked like a laser tag arena.
The Q5 was pretty good but not 15k better than the Tiguan.
The interior is first rate and the massage seats are best I’ve seen/set in. It is pretty peppy and even though it has 27 more HP than the GTI the Aisin 8 speed is no match for the DSG in the GTI.
It handles well and is not as harsh as the X3 and the interior beats it by a mile. The one thing that I couldn’t get over with the Q5 was the interior door handles. Sunken back into the door and you have to grip the entire arm rest to get there. Look it up it’s certainly a miss on Audis part.
I’ve had it since first week of January and it’s not missed a beat. I got the software update for the VGT turbo issue that some have had and can’t tell a difference afterwards. Run it to 500 miles and dropped the factory fill for Mobil 1 ESP 0w-30. The dipstick is gone but I was used to that from my A4. Can still do topside changes as there is a tube for it inside the oil fill hole.

I saw one of these in person for the first time last Friday. Same color even. Pretty sharp. It’s about the size of my grand Cherokee and would definitely fit most of my needs. It would definitely work for my work commute. Still really want a truck though. 🤷‍♂️

*I really want a dark blue F150 Tremor, but a $70k truck just to drive to and from work is just nuts to me. I think my wife wants one more than me. I’d be happy with a base-ish model as long as it has the off road, trailer, and extended range packages. I can add the torsen front differential found on the Tremor 402a for $1000. F150 seems to be the leading contender in half ton reliability. No idea on what engine to get. 2.7/3.5 EB’s seem decent as well as the 5.0.

The prices are ridiculous these days... My local Ford dealer must have 300 trucks on the lot .
I don't see them moving like years before

You can get a F-150 XLT Super Crew FX4 and tow package for $57,400 MSRP. That automatically gets you a 3.5 Ecoboost.
