Not a bad looking vehicle. The CVT is the only thing I don’t care for.

The previous gen wilderness edition supposedly can tow 3500 lbs, which would be perfect for my needs, but apparently you need trailer brakes to be able to tow that much. No idea what the non trailer brake equipped capacity is.

I thought they said 3000 lbs for the above question but a YTber said it

The correct number is 1000 pounds without tbs. and some went to 2000 pounds but not recommended

True but as far as longevity the conventional transmission today has no advantage in longevity ....towing aside....

Conventional transmissions have gone the wrong direction reliability wise. Added complexity and constant cost cutting is to blame. I'd not hesitate to just buy the wife a newer Edge but the 8F35 has me nervous. Still might be buying one anyway.

Some things I like... dumped that loser info no tainment and now real hvac buttons... 2.9% on these for 48 months

Wheel wells have luggage handles so if you get stuck four burly guys can pick it up and move it....weird but after 10 payments you'll love it....
