I had to educate @KCJeep on the three P's of Mitsubishi ownership..

Wow, much more than I expected. If it were me I'd rather it be totaled. If it was taken to a chain shop or non certified mom and pop shop, they'd find a way to fix it!

You didn't even have a chance to remove the spare tire, battery, alternator, and interior trimmings to resell on ebay!

This is the 26' mild hybrid in the full size Outlander, I guess its an Eclipse engine at its base and I may go test drive one... I'm sure it won't be a power house under 180 hp but interesting anyway.
I think this is a Canadian dealer...the video is only 6 minutes or so and a quick explanation of the new power train.

My friend just bought a new Maverick to replace the totalled one.
He got a new 2025 Hybrid in Space White Metallic in a XL trim loaded up as much as possible...with spray in liner. Deal.price was $25,685 plus tax etc...
I don’t mind the XL as it now has more standard features....and the retail price has cranked up on 25-26 models.

He got off the top trims...wanted to save some $$$.. top trims seem less desirable at trade in time...No green this time.
Sounds like he came out ahead?
People still think the Maverick hybrid is still $20k....not

He claimed that his wrecked 2026 when new had a weird vibration through the gas pedal and the electric motor wasn't as smooth as earlier versions... he has had 4 Maverick hybrids...
He says the late model 25 he got today is the same.. my late model 23 built in that December didn’t have the issue and like his 24 one without the issue.... very smooth and refined unlike the 25 and 26 models
