Lets talk about new vehicles

I'm actually liking my Accord Hybrid more and more. I never got the USB and phone charger fixed yet as I figure I'll take it in when I get the free first service and get a loaner.

I drive it like I stole it and at 55.4 mpg for the nearly 6k miles total.
Absolutely no fuel dilution at all but most of my trips are always 15 miles or longer.

I still have that beautifully made belly pan rattling on harsh roads but if they don't fix it I have a fix for it.

The seats are perfection...
The ultimate interstate cruiser with the comfort and mpgs even at high speed. Just needs a few warranty issues resolved. With use the suspension is far better and it handles very well.

I'm at a bit over 15,000 miles on my 2019 Accord Hybrid since I got it last December. My average over that 15k has risen to just over 40 mpg. It started low, due to winter weather. I was consistently over 40 once the weather warmed up. This is indicated mileage, which comes out about 1.5 mpg less than what I get comparing the odometer to gallons consumed.

Interestingly, on Fuelly, both the 2019 and the 2025 Accord hybrids are averaging 41.6 mpg. I drive pretty mildly and tend to hit close to the Fuelly average. I am stunned at your 55.4 mpg - Your Mileage May Vary, I guess.

I like the car, comfortable and easy to drive. Good for my commute and on the interstate. I don't think it's fun for "spirited driving" but it's good in every other scenario. I think the seats are good but I really have never complained about seats in any car I've owned.

NOT good on hilly roads where the engine has to drone to keep up.

I finally solved a rattle on my car from the rocker cover or the plastic tray under the car between the rear wheels. Took both off, got all the rocks out, and reinstalled with new push pins and it's quiet now. There are some occasional creaks and rattles in the interior but not enough to motivate me to try to track them down. Getting close to 270k miles, guess that's off topic for a thread called "Lets talk about new vehicles" lol.

I have a heated steering wheel on my Christmas list...

270k is very impressive 👏
I have several odometer pics here of mpg and generally do great with hybrids in my hilly terrain.
Good luck going forward 👍

The 2026 Outlander is getting Mitsubishi motivation and gone will be the Nissan engine

A 1.5 liter Mild Hybrid Turbo....
I wonder if it will end up in the sport?

Here is the last 1500 plus miles
Colder weather and i have been running it hard with much interstate use and absolutely no care for mpgs. Also running 5w-30

*just an FYI that's not mine I saw this on another site. Nice looking car.

Does Toyota put a 1st gear in the Corolla CVT's? Their CVT's are reliable much like Honda.

I believe they do

I had a loaner Corolla last year and really liked it - I'm kind of easy to please, though.
