Wow, you had the 720 bucket seat upgrades.

My neighbor (which where i grew up was like 5 miles away) had an old 620 I think - the earlier one. It had a bench seat that would make an old church proud. I road in it a few times and as a small kid I always remember it as feeling like I was riding outside, it was so bumpy and noisy. Kinda like riding on the tractor.

We had pretty solid interest in the Honda version, but chickened out. We ended up (for my wife) with the Rav4H instead.

There's a recall for a parking brake issue. I haven't had any problems with mine for the 15,000 miles I've driven it, apart from software glitches. Sometimes I loose audio if I use Google voice prompts while playing music or podcasts and the car likes to forget synced phones. Apart from those two issues it's been great. Exceeded my expectations so far considering it wasn't initially on my radar. I wish I could have held out for the SS.

Accord Hybrid 2025 update
57.4 mpg average over 1423 miles
And I'm now driving it after the 600 mile break in without a care and in crazy heat with full tilt AC....

The Accord is a pantograph on wheels....with the wheels being a stylus. Every minute variance or texture of the road the size of bird seed is unfortunately transmitted into the cabin under the seats and I never had a vehicle with this type of road feel which to me is a total negative.
It can't even effectively isolate minor ripples or road imperfections and instead of absorbing or floating over it prefers to crash over them...

We aren't even talking about potholes. In the late 80s my lingo of the day was Honda didn't understand the road system in the USA as they couldn't properly dial in the suspension then... Today it's worse.... even my last 2013 Accord was far better and my 86 Acura Integra didn't crash over road surfaces.....

Will the suspension break in??
I'll be back at 5000 miles..
