Lets talk about new vehicles

I bought it in Wilmington Delaware new at Alderman Datsun....it became well known.
The old RSHS now the middle school had a hill right out front and it became the ice competition. Even the police would watch....
With its ultra short first gear it would just walk up the ice and the Vreds would get really sticky in the wet and 3 sand bags across the axle..
Well....I apologize. You are not such an idiot after all... :)

I had this AMC Eagle SX4 prior...1981

That is a cool vehicle.

Back to trucks. I bought the Mazda used with about 80K. Removed the bed and sold the bed. Installed the utility bed and drove it over 200K. Sold it cheap to an employee as the rear was rusting. He used it for years and eventually gave it away to a farmer friend who used it as an off road farm truck.

Around here the farmers always got them last .....

That little girl was my niece Nicki
She bought one of my houses a few years back... In 1989 she learned how to shoot a bb pistol and she shot up the neighborhood and shot my pristine 1986 Acura Integra luckily just one bb it cost me $160 to fix it.... I never told her...giving her the call now....😆 🤣

The MAZDA 5s' last year was '18 . Can't be all that bad for the powertrain dependability . 🤷‍♂️
One of my ex girlfriends has a Mazda5 and it’s been really good to her. It’s approaching about 280,000 km right now and she’s really only had to get suspension repairs so far. Everything else has been rock solid.

My best friend in my 20s had one of those Eagles. Really cool car, very luxurious inside but great off road ability as well. We hunted deer in the Black Hills with it. Good times.

I have not seen one in the wild in forever.
Yeah I don't ever see them either
Been maybe 20 years

Road trip selection....

Mitsubishi Sport gas hog.... ⛽🤔

Accord thrifty but never relaxed...
It feels like a 70s muscle car with a 4 spd manual that you leave in 3rd gear.
Always torqued up

Mitsubishi 2L and cvt so improved it comes off as a lazy V6 with auto trans....32 mpg average in daily driving, no start stop, all the safety features but plain and simple....
You can drive it and work the HVAC etc. without looking

My cheapness wants me to use the Accord . But the Mitsubishi most likely is a better trip choice.

Still deciding which to use...
Kcjeep no doubt will hone in on the cheapness lingo while seated in his new gorgeous green furniture

At least you are owning the cheapness, it's a good start to your therapy.

I'd take the Mitsubishi myself; I wouldn't call that a gas hog, but I know it is for the super thrifty (read cheap). Then again pretty sure my EcoBeast Mustang could hit 32 highway if I was careful. I will find out in September, road trip for a wedding.

Even though I’m generally a person who chooses the cheapest option, sometimes it’s more fun to choose the other option. For me on a road trip I prefer taking the Corvette over the Civic even though the cost of fuel is much more. Road trips are more about the enjoyment of the drive than the cost of it all.

Yeah I can agree with that....

Not in the GTS. It’s McLaren’s touring car, so it has a more comfortable suspension and interior that is better for long drives compared to their other cars
Even the Accord with 17s is stiff
The Arteon had 18 inches but adjustable suspension..
I notice the dealers today send out most cars overly inflated even with service.
Delivered as new my Mitsubishi had 44 psi when the correct pressure was 33 psi... I could tell it instantly
