Lets talk about new vehicles

I always wondered if in Brake Hold, whether when you took your foot off the brake if the brake lights stayed on. With my little car display, now I know... they do!
Exactly. On my Ford Maverick I backed up to the garage to see as I didn't have a dash feature.

They don't come in lime green
Ya i know - 😲

Get you a tarp and some bungie cords like the rest of us peasants do.
When I drive by those homes with the 4 car garages near my son’s elementary school, I think to myself, going through life that way sure doesn’t build one’s character. I also wonder what kind of cat litter they use, to soak up power steering fluid leaks on the EP Henry?

Pablo could answer those questions. I don't know if @KCJeep
Has a four car garage or not as I can't see past the grass...

Second was a Mercury Sable that I owned. Seats were good but car was always having some sort of issue. With all the repairs I think I paid for that car twice.

I had a Ford Taurus back in the day--that was one of the most comfortable cars I've had. It had the 3.0 V6 which was very good. Sold it to a friend who wore it out with a lot of miles.

I do like women who know cars.
My Honda saleslady was great. We test drove several cars and she knew cars and we had some great conversations. No sales smack either.

Now my Mitsubishi guy was clueless and lazy and doesn't deserve any sales as he knows nothing about the product.

I have sold cars to people at the dealerships on a Sunday as just a private person..
I told them how easy it was to change the oil and the advantages of a vehicle over others...

Most are just putting in time...

I'm reminded of a test drive of a new Durango a few years ago. Sales rep was a young girl. She insisted riding up front and my wife was riding in the back. About half way through the 20 minute drive, I noticed the sales rep had gotten quiet. I look over and she's. . . .sleeping, head bouncing off her shoulder. It was probably for the best--she was also clueless about that vehicle. . .couldn't answer the most basic questions.

When we bought the Rav most of the deal was done online. When I showed up I said we wanted to drive just to make sure everything is good. Wife and I rode up front. Young sales guy was in back seat on phone to his girlfriend - no word of a lie.

Yup when I was young and stupid I drove one to Miami and back from Maryland straight...that killed me..

Accord Hybrid nitpicking

Shift lever requires you to go underneath to push the button...weird

No real room above the rear view mirror to easily adjust it.

EX-L is supposed to be softer due to the 17 inch tires. It's still a bit stiff.

Electric motor sound is there most of the time. More than most other Hybrids.

No Sirius radio...... using an app isn't easy at first but if you preset the channels it gets better but not ideal

Direct Injection not my favorite

The delay wipers on the lowest setting are a bit aggressive

One great feature is the walk away automatic locking. Just get out of the car and start walking and it locks by itself.
