Lets talk about new vehicles

VW is having the same issues with their EV. I do like the bus though... The ID.4 lease looks like a good option if you have to have an EV.
There are two ID4s at work as well. And some kind of Golf that plugs in. There was one of those new KIAs also but it was only around a couple of months then it disappeared. They might have dumped it.

If forced into an EV the ID4 would also be my first choice.

You must be getting them all. Everything non-fleet is invisible black or mud grey around here.

I never know if I'm being radar'd by a LEO or a Soccer mom in that new Explorer :)
Weird huh.. colorless in Maryland

Wonder If that base truck for 31k would be a good truck?
No body rust concern on the former Pepsi can body.

What it that v6? I am guessing it is not the vulcan of yore.

If I could get out the door for 19k with my trade I might go for it. Gotta drive it first.
I think it has a 3.73 rear lock'er a trailering pkg. So it should get about in the snow - maybe

Seems like a solid basic engine. From the past I remember YouTubers being fond of it.

If 4x2 works for ya...great.

I will be requesting a full 3 week suspension for your aggressive forum disposition.

Yup 👍
Ford is crazy expensive.
I saw a video yesterday of a guy boasting how cheap the base XL 250 with a few options is only $60k...

I wonder if next year brings better pricing? I suspect so.
I read that Ford wants the Mustang to appeal to a younger demographic like the Mustangs of old so they're adding more tech to it. Don't know that they're going to be successful with starting prices north of $50k for 4cyl and manual transmission.

They lured @KCJeep in but I'm 2 days older than him... 😊

The Mustang is a bit unique in that it clearly hits a couple vastly different demographics.

I call the EcoBoost “the Mustang for mature audiences”. 🤣

As to the space looking tech on the 24s, that’s largely why I snagged a 23. I hadn’t initially planned to trade until next year.

The take rate on manual EcoBoosts was very low, I believe that they will only be available on V8s for 24 and beyond.

I haven’t priced 24s but an EcoBoost selectively optioned still should not be more than 40k.

High rollers drive Arteon.
The Arteon is sweet. Unfortunately it's done for. I wouldn't mind having one, but I think I'd have more fun in the Golf R for similar money. I just don't know if I could choose the Arteon in that comparison.
