Lets talk about new vehicles

I am seeing a lot of these lately in parking lots but only a handful with good body panel fit.

Stangs are all around better in my opinion! Never have seen one as bad as the Teslas.
I noticed nothing but admiration for Tesla everywhere and when their stock tanked the truth started coming out. We know why...

Remember MOST cars are NOT good cars; there are only a couple keepers every generation. The rest are barely tolerable completely tossable junk ... and I don't mean toss into corners either - unless the used car lot is on the corner.

I haven't driven it and they all seem to be gone, but how bout a 2021 Camaro LT1 with the 455hp 6.2 V8 and the six-speed manual.
The power and torque of a header-clad 427BBC from the mid 60's - and I don't mean British Broadcasting Corporation!

They can be had for around 36K and this is a bargain for this total performance package. They are all getting snapped up around here, Just get the Active exhaust - or toss on your own noisy mufflers and you are good to go - REALLY quick and fast in a really good handling chassis - possibly better than the new corvette. The Seats are very comfy an the forward visibility is not that bad!

Now there is something to get excited about! CUV? FWD Sedans? Blechhh!

Wonder if a dealer could install the digital rear view mirror on a base model ? Gets rid of lots of blind spots
No headlight glare !

But remember the OP was about max mpg for long trips and comfortable
My brother had a Camaro and it was painful to get into and horrible just to buckle up.

Alex on Autos- that guy never takes a breath..........he talks non stop...doesn't even gulp for air-lol
But he was talking about VW's attempt to take over the US market and they usually fail at every attempt.

The 4Runner- outdated, uncomfortable, and a gas hog. I looked at one this year before I got my F250
resale value is insane but I found it cramped and the mpg was PU like

47 pages and I would still suggest a Hellcat Charger or Challenger. Edit,,,, a Ford Raptor.

You have a Subie
Tell us if you will how it has been

Save your money and get a leftover 2020 Dodge Journey. It's got 1990s features like 4 speed automatic, port injected 2.4 liter. Dealers advertising them for 1990s pricing as well, $16k.

They talk about those as a pos...
I drove a new rental back like 15 years ago...6cyl AWD and it was a solid 25-26 mpg..drove great.
Seat bottoms were hard was the only complaint. My big hound loved it.
