Im telling you, buy a used mark 6 diesel volkswagen with a manual transmission, you can get up to 80 miles per gallon. They are indestructible.

We did have a guy on here last month that went to Florida and back and got a 69mpg avg if I remember correctly.
He was selling it and showed all the info

Maybe the old ALH TDIs from the late 90s, early 00s could hyper-mile somewhat close to that. Not the newer ones though.

I played the TDI game for a little while, I could get into the mid 40’s, but it was an auto.

I've actually been maintaining the vehicle for a couple years now for my aunt, car's in really good shape besides a couple things. She's getting to the point where she is done putting money in it (brakes recently pretty much go to the floor, needs an overhaul). Thinking of handing her a check and driving it during the summer. It's much better than all the other $2K beaters on Marketplace I've been looking at. It's one of the few Benz's that are actually reliable. I don't have hair, but I guess my beard can blow in the wind?

You'd have to go like 50 mph to get that good of fuel economy in a TDI. Good luck with that.

I doubt anybody will watch this but you see some neat tricks Nissan adds to the SL Rogue...Insulation, laminated glass and the Bose treat in the spare tire area. Im impressed.
