They were VERY fast in the day but unobtanium for many guys being priced at 34 grand - about the annual salary for a mid-level young engineer!
The Corvette couldn't beat it stock until 1996 when the LT-4 330HP engine came out.
I would rather drive the '96 Vette - it's way underrated these days. But, the Supra TT is much more valuable due mainly to J-culture love and those stupid hollywood movies - people are so dang flakey!
Here is a review by someone mostly unbeholden to the industry.

Kind of car is this? I see some kind of mark possibly says Chevrolet and maybe a Nova but other than that.. cant place it?

Don't need it.
Us old guys lived this period when these were new. It's a Poncho. GM had distinct rear lamp treatments
between the Chevelle (good) the Oldsmobile (Fair) and the Pontiac (UGLY!)

Made a judgement call and captured some burst shots. Car flew away shortly after, as a Murcielago would. Looked better than it does in these photos. Saw one last year, too..
