Feel free to PM me once you figure out your number one choice. As a few folks have already mentioned, it's always worth test driving what you like first. Thanks Mac

Really fun car, yet cheap.
My wife (in her 70's) loves her's. She had a 18 Mazda3 but thought it was too low and wanted a higher driving position but not something too much larger. The CX30 was a perfect compromise for her. We took it on a 4000+ mile road trip last summer and it did not disappoint. Now for me, I was getting a little tired of SUV's (had a 16 and 21 CX5.....both great vehicles) and wanted something a little more sporty. I did a 180 and went in the opposite direction with the Mazda3 sedan AWD (I missed my RX7 and Miata days). The 3 is low, sleek, nimble, economical AND fun to drive!Mazda CX-30? That’s the leading contender for my mom.
This looks like a very good way to go. M makes a grand and you save a grand on a, checked out car.Feel free to PM me once you figure out your number one choice. As a few folks have already mentioned, it's always worth test driving what you like first.
My purchases are usually about $3,000 to $4,000 less expensive than retail while also offering a better vehicle maintenance history. However that gap may narrow to about a $1,000 to $2,000 if you're looking at a popular late-model Toyota. Those are really tight right now.
In about 8 months, daughter will get her license and receive my Altima. I will be in need of a vehicle for myself. I'd like to find something 15-19k dollars that will be reliable. Seems nothing is really made that well anymore. I like leather seats and nice looks. I am open to a FWD CUV mid-sized or a se. I am leaning towards a used Lexus ES350 at the moment. What other recommendations do you people have? What about a Charger/300? Too much of a gamble?
Toyota Avalon would be an excellent choice.
