Have to install laminate at my daughters house today and am not sure of the blade that will work good in my 10 miter saw and my Dewalt Battery powered circular saw.

My first adventure into laminates I tried a carbide tipped, finish trim blade. In hindsight, it was a little wide. I seemed to have better luck with the thinnest 80 tooth blades I found hanging at Lowes and Home Depot. I balked a bit when I saw the prices of the 100 tooth blades...I know they can be pricey, but have a spare or two depending on the size of your daughter's house/project. Way to go dad! We all need to show our skills off once in a while!

The Diablo Pergo blade. The only blade recommend by Pergo Flooring. Expensive for a one time project and probably not obtainable locally today however.

Thanks guys for the tips. I have a Menards a Lowes a Home Depot a Rural King and a Harbor Freight. Hopefully one of those has an 80 tooth 10" that I can afford. The dewalt battery saw with the 5 and 3/8 blade may be a non starter. I have a corded 7 1/4 saw too so I'll take that along too. Can't thank you enough for the suggestions. The clerks in the store will tell you anything.
