Anyone hear about this? Anyway a guy named Ray P. Lambrecht, now 95 years old, who with his wife Mildred and a single mechanic ran Lambrecht Chevrolet, a small rural dealership in Pierce, Nebraska from 1946 to 1996. The collection includes a startling number of new old stock cars, time-capsules that were never sold or registered as well as trade ins that Lambrecht and his Mildred decided to keep.

Yeah, that story has been circulating for a few months now. Quite the find for the Chevy guys !

It's a shame that all those cars have been slowly rotting away for all these years, but I guess most wouldn't exist in any condition if they had been sold and driven.

If she says 1 mile anymore I'm going to go crazy

If someone washed and waxed them all once a year they would be in immaculate condition on the exterior also...

For those who are interested in watching the auction. It's being televised on the History Channel right now and it started at 8PM EST.

She's so annoying, I turned it off.

Watching it atm, the banter is lame lets see some Barret Jackson style auction block stuff

The prices some of that stuff sold for was just mind blowing. Sure a 58 Cameo pickup is cool but it needs a total restoration and doesnt really matter that it has 1.3 miles on it. It sold for $140K and even a perfectly restored one will only get half that. But if you got the extra money to burn just so you can say its a "new" truck, more power to you!

I went to this auction on saturday. Talked to the guy who bought the 2nd most expensive vehicle, a 63 Impala with 11 miles, for $97,500. Also watched a couple from new zealand get in a bit of an argument with the head auctioneer over them bidding $20,000 (and winning) the wrong car. Best "car show" ive ever been to!
