Have been in the local Walmart recently and there seems to be a short supply of Mobil 1 oils in the 5 qt. jug. I haven't seen any any 5-30EP in a month. Has anyone else noticed this at their local Walmart? I wonder if they are just selling out as soon as they get it or a supply disruption?

Nothing like that at a few in my area. Theyve got it all, AFE, M1, HM, Mobil 1 Truck and SUV, EP, etc.

The Walmarts here have cut down on the size of shelf space that Mobil had. So they lost some weights of reg Mobil 1 and EP.

Shell products have the most and Valvoline the next.

While I don't buy Mobil 1 I do keep up on their prices and stock and what they normally carry is still there.

They did just increase the prices again along with QS.

I haven't noticed, because I hardly go there. My local Meijer has a bunch of Mobil 1 though in most grades and types (HM, EP, etc.), except the 0W's.

Castrol and PZ dominate the shelves at my Wally's. MC and M1 are on either end and not nearly as much shelf space as they once had.

Mobil 1 still has the most shelf space in my area Walmart, followed by Penn Yellow bottle and Castrol. The EP Mobil 1 has just been hitting our shelves in the 5 gal variety

At the Walmart in question M1 has the most shelf space, but there is a shortage of the 5 qt. jug. It's been that way for some time. There does seem to be an ample supply of the qt. containers. I think there sales are up here at this store.

Lets see. 5 qts of Mobil 1 is $24.

So that's $4.80 a quart. 5 GALLONS is 20 quarts so $96 for the jug/pail/??

I think you guys mean 5 quart container...

Correct?

Same prices here in northern NJ. They have plenty of 5 quart jugs on the shelves. Does Mobil even make Mobil 1 0W-20 in a 5 quart jug? I've only seen it in quarts. They have Mobil 1 5W-20 in 5 quart jugs.

Same here before they shrunk the shelf space. Now only the 0w30 is in 5 qt jugs and its the green bottles.

Im fairly certain that the Walmart here in VB has Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w20, I need to swing by there at lunch anyway so Ill have a look.

Still have the most shelf space up here, and the most at Canadian Tire too.

No lack of grades in either location, other than the 0w40 which has always been hard to find.

Was in Walmart again today and looked in on the auto dept. Still only 4 or 5 jugs of Mobil 1. So I went to the clerks and ask whats going on with the lack of Mobil 1 oil in the jug and they said they were not getting it from their supplier what ever that means.
