Just curious. For those of you that collect knives, what is your favorite USA made brand of knife. I am partial to KaBar, Buck, Case and Bear (Alabama). I also have one Morf folding pocket knife with a Damascus blade that is very well made.

Thoughts, please.

Buck, Benchmade, Gerber are my most recent purchases. Can't speak to their US or global component breakdown.

Also Leatherman if we are including multi-tool companies.

I am not a collector per se, but I have to give my "favorite" to TOPS. They have some really cool designs and are made well. I have several folders and fixed blades, Benchmade makes the best folder IMO, Cold Steel, Spyderco to name a few.

I have several options, but I do not collect, they are all purpose bought.

If I were limited to only owning knives from one company it would be Spyderco.

We’ve lost several really good makers of conventional slip joint and fixed blade knives in the last couple of decades: Queen, Schrade, Camillus, and now Ontario. I hope we don’t lose any more.

I have a few knives (Imperial, KA-BAR, Gerber) but I don’t consider myself a collector. My current EDC is a Kershaw Scallion and I couldn’t be happier with it.

In the past it was mostly Buck Knives, I discovered Black Jack, then Bark River Knives. The are all fixed blades I have several thousand worth of those. (don't tell my wife) I like Bark River (they have a huge following) because they are semi custom and use they use high end steels with great heat treat. Also like Benchmade and my daily small folder is a Case with the Carhartt branding on it.
