Kitchen backsplash re-tile

With the cabinets painted white, the brown backsplash didn't go together. We decided on a simple white tile but with double herringbone pattern to give it a bit more pop.
I think the final result is worth it, but oh man that pattern took me a long time to lay down, probably 25-30 hours total or so. I did most of it in the evenings after work, so I'm not sure of the exact hours.

Agree the herringbone makes the area pop and brightens up the kitchen. the old backsplash wasn't terrible either but good choice.
